About King Kaoa
Born in the mid sixties, raised in San Francisco, California, life has shown me many things. Not all pleasant, but for the most part.....agreeable. Having been born into dysfunction artwork became my balance in life. We all need some form of meditation, something to believe in. Creating has been a great source and comfort to me. Self taught, I have found that my greatest pleasure is through trial and error. I find something new to work with, and continue to mold my skills until I've mastered that project. Once done, it's time to move to something new. I've worked with acrylics, airbrush, spray paint, faux finishes, yes even tattooing. I have enjoyed them all but moving on is such a wonderful part of self discovery. I am currently challenging myself with digital art and seeing where that may lead. Starting with pen and ink or digital photos, I am able to take it to the next level...sans additional paper, paints...going green shall we say?
